NetEase Games bekrefter lansering 12. desember for åpen verden Wuxia RPG Where Winds Meet

NetEase Games has officially announced that Where Winds Meet, its long-awaited open-world Wuxia RPG, will launch on December 12 for both Android and iOS. The global pre-registration campaign is now live, following the completion of the iOS technical test last month.

Originally expected to arrive on December 31—according to its App Store placeholder date—the game will now reach mobile platforms earlier than anticipated. Already praised by PC and console players, Where Winds Meet invites fans to immerse themselves in a richly realized version of 10th-century China as a young wandering swordsman.

At the heart of the story is a personal mystery: uncovering the truth about your own identity set against the backdrop of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms era. Locations such as Qinghe and Kaifeng stand out due to their deep historical significance, and early impressions suggest a strong lineup of side quests to explore.

One of the game’s most striking features is its fast-travel system, which has impressed players with its unique animation and fluid design. Combat blends traditional martial arts with responsive action and classic weapons, while the NPC interaction system stands out for its flexibility—you can befriend villagers, provoke them, trick them, or even act as their mentor.
