Utgivelsesdatoen for Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake angivelig avslørt

Ubisoft initially announced the remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time back in 2020 and they planned to release the game next year, in January 2021. However, it went wrong and still the game doesn't have a release date. It seems like they game will actually be released in January, but next year.

Recently, well-known gaming insider Tom Henderson appeared at Insider Gaming podcast called What Is AI's Place in Gaming? where he shared some details about remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. According to him, the game will be released on January 16, 2026 and we also should expect remake to appear at upcoming The Game Awards 2025 ceremony.

It's important to say that Ubisoft haven't confirmed they take part in The Game Awards 2025 ceremony so consider that information with a grain of salt. However, it seems logical to show Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake at TGA 2025 (December 12) if release is really scheduled for next month after the reveal.
