As seen in the September 2025 PlayStation State of Play, the game will include brutal combat and a darker storyline, but the trailer also teased several outfits for Logan.

Thanks to ScreenRant, we know that Insomniac’s past Marvel projects like Marvel’s Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales leaned heavily into alternate skins, drawing from decades of comics, films, and television appearances. This pattern suggests Wolverine will receive the same treatment, with players able to unlock and equip a wide range of looks that celebrate different eras of the character.

Original Wolverine Costume

Logan’s first appearance in Incredible Hulk #181 (1974) gave readers a rougher prototype of his classic look. Designed by John Romita Sr. and Herb Trimpe, this costume featured slimmer mask “ears” and visible eyes, making it a retro fit that could serve as a callback to Wolverine’s earliest days.

X-Force Suit

In 2008, Wolverine became the leader of Cyclops’s black-ops team in X-Force. His new outfit ditched the bright yellow for dark grey with glowing red eyes, emphasizing stealth and intimidation.
