Elon Musks datter steker spilleferdighetene sine: 'Han var en Torbjörn Main i bronse. Han var jævla hund

Elon Musk loves to talk about his gaming skills. Whether it’s flexing his supposed dominance in Diablo 4 or Path of Exile 2 or sharing his questionable Elden Ring build, the man wants the world to know that he’s a gamer. But his own estranged daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, is here to set the record straight—and it’s not pretty.

During a recent appearance on left-wing streamer Hasan Piker’s Twitch channel, Wilson absolutely torched Musk’s gaming prowess, recalling his struggles in Overwatch when she was younger.

“When I was 12, he was Bronze in Overwatch, and me and my twin weren’t,” Wilson told Piker.

“He would try to constantly get us to play ranked with him, and I’m 90% sure it was just because we could carry him.”

For those unfamiliar with Overwatch rankings, Bronze is the lowest tier, placing Musk among the bottom 5-10% of the player base. That’s not exactly the elite level of gaming mastery he likes to project.

And it gets worse.

“I was a twelve-year-old Hanzo main who was barely in Silver,” Wilson added.

“He was a Bronze Torbjörn main. He was f*ing dogsht. Awful, like godawful.”

Ouch.

To make matters even more embarrassing, Torbjörn was widely considered an “off-meta” or suboptimal pick during that time. Translation: Musk wasn’t just bad—he was bad while playing a character that was already at a disadvantage.

Wilson wasn’t buying any of Musk’s more recent claims about being some kind of gaming prodigy either.

“So no, I don’t believe the fing ‘I am a pro Path of Exile whatever the f,’” she said.

“No the f*** you are not. This is so cringe. Why would you even pretend to be—it’s fine not to be a gamer.”

And that’s really the thing—why does Musk feel the need to pretend he’s an elite gamer in the first place?

The Cringe Gamer Persona

It’s no secret that Musk has a habit of injecting himself into gaming conversations, often with dubious claims. Most famously, he shared his Elden Ring build—a bizarre mix of fat rolling, low endurance, double shields, and three weapons—only to get relentlessly roasted by actual gamers. His own response?

“Equipped load will be lower if fast roll is needed.”

As if that somehow excused the abomination he had created.

But rather than laugh it off and learn from the experience, Musk has continued to double down. What was his latest gaming misadventure? Admitting that he paid for account boosting in Diablo 4 and Path of Exile 2 undermined any credibility he might have had in those communities. Because nothing screams “pro gamer” like paying someone else to play for you.

Elon Musk’s Path of Exile 2 Scandal: Boosted Account

Elon Musk has never been one to back down from a challenge, whether it’s launching rockets or stirring up Twitter chaos. But when he dived into Path of Exile 2, things took a turn for the ridiculous. Reports surfaced that Musk, known for his obsessive approach to gaming, was using a private server modified with overpowered loot drops, infinite currency, and a broken build that let him one-shot bosses. At first, the PoE community thought it was just another internet rumor—until a leaked clip showed his character casually walking through endgame content untouched, his health bar permanently stuck at full.

Grinding Gear Games, the developers of PoE 2, quickly took action. An official post on their forums confirmed that an unnamed "high-profile player" had been flagged for unfair advantages. While they didn’t drop names, the timing was too perfect to ignore. Reddit and Discord exploded with memes, comparing Musk’s in-game exploits to his real-world controversies. One user joked, “Dude’s running PoE like it’s a Tesla production line—zero balance, infinite glitches.” Some die-hard fans defended him, claiming it was just a “tech billionaire experiment,” but most agreed: cheating in PoE was worse than inflating Tesla’s stock price with a single tweet.

Facing backlash, Musk responded in the most Musk way possible —by doubling down. He tweeted, “It’s not cheating, it’s innovation. We should embrace AI-powered loot distribution.” But as the controversy grew, his PoE account mysteriously disappeared. Some say it was deleted by the devs, others think he rage-quit. Either way, the lesson was clear: even the richest man in the world couldn’t buy his way through the Path of Exile.

Musk vs. Hasan Piker

Musk’s gaming credibility was already in the gutter, but the situation escalated again when he recently called out Hasan Piker, labeling him a “fraud” for doing a sponsored stream of Assassin’s Creed Shadows. This was the same game that got swept up in a pre-release culture war because of its inclusion of Yasuke, a real-life Black samurai, and a female ninja, Naoe.

The problem? The game seems to be selling and reviewing well anyway, making Musk’s attempt to stir controversy look even more ridiculous.

It’s not the first time Musk has gone after Piker, and it probably won’t be the last. But what’s fascinating is how Musk keeps dragging gaming into his broader public persona, as if it somehow validates his “cool billionaire” status. Spoiler: It doesn’t.

The Bigger Picture

Wilson’s criticisms of Musk extend far beyond gaming. She has been vocal about her father’s far-right political shift and his aggressive stance on anti-trans issues—something that hits especially close to home, as Wilson is trans herself. Musk has publicly referred to her as “dead, killed by the woke mind virus” and continues to misgender her.

Wilson, for her part, has described Musk as “cold” and “narcissistic,” recalling how he would pressure her to appear more masculine and mock her for showing feminine traits.

Her comments on his gaming skills might be funny, but they also serve as a window into the larger pattern of Musk’s behavior—one where he constructs an image of himself that doesn’t always line up with reality. Whether it’s pretending to be a gaming god, hyping up a new AI gaming studio (which has yet to materialize), or positioning himself as some kind of cultural warrior, the common thread is a desperate need for validation.

And, as Wilson so brutally pointed out, it’s just cringy.

So,

Musk could’ve just laughed off the Overwatch days, admitted he was bad at games, and moved on. Instead, he has spent years trying to craft an image of himself as a high-IQ gamer while getting caught boosting his accounts and making questionable build choices.

Maybe it’s time to log off.
