However, new revelations, shared on Reddit, suggest that Musk might not have been playing on his own account.

During the stream, Musk revealed his in-game nickname as "MonkEBiznizz." A Reddit user, Fraggu, conducted an investigation and discovered inconsistencies pointing to the account not being Musk's. Fraggu noted that trade deals and stash tab names associated with the account were written in Chinese, and the account was registered on a Hong Kong server—despite Musk typically residing in Florida, USA.

Further fueling suspicion, Fraggu suggested that Musk may have borrowed the account from a Chinese professional player. This theory is supported by Musk's apparent lack of familiarity with the game's controls, as he struggled with basic mechanics and simple combos during the stream.

While Musk has not commented on these allegations, the incident has sparked lively discussion among the Path of Exile 2 community about account sharing and transparency in high-profile gaming streams.
