Over a decade after the release of the acclaimed Endless Legend, Amplitude Studios has officially announced its highly anticipated sequel, Endless Legend 2. The game introduces players to Saiadha, an oceanic world brimming with mysteries, ancient powers, and cataclysmic challenges. A new trailer teases the enigmatic lore of Saiadha, hinting at a "god" imprisoned at the planet's core and the role warring factions may play in either freeing – or defying – this being.

In the trailer, a male voice claiming to be a god describes himself as a prisoner, with Saiadha's oceans serving as his chains. Whispered female voices, however, paint a darker picture, referring to him as "dust" and implying a sinister past. Players will explore Saiadha's secrets while grappling with the dangers of its ever-changing landscape, where monstrous waves threaten civilizations with destruction, starvation, and death.

Players will take command of one of several distinct factions, including human-like beings, centaurs, and humanoid insects, as they compete for dominance in this dynamic and treacherous world. During early access, slated for early 2025, players can control four unique factions, with two additional factions arriving at full release.

Amplitude Studios is also reopening applications for its insider program, allowing select fans to join the testing phase ahead of early access. While not all applicants will be chosen immediately, they'll be considered for future opportunities to test Amplitude's upcoming projects.

With Endless Legend 2, Amplitude Studios promises a rich blend of strategy, lore, and peril as players navigate Saiadha's tumultuous waters and uncover the secrets lurking beneath its surface. Fans of the series can look forward to diving into this darkly fantastical world early next year.
