From Software kunngjorde et tillegg Shadow of the Erdtree for ELDEN RING

The authors of Elden Ring from From Software have announced the first story DLC for the game. The expansion will be subtitled Shadow of the Erdtree.

Apparently, the theme of the DLC will be the world tree Erd, which plays an important role in the original game. The authors of the successful souls-like do not share any details, however, news regarding the upcoming major expansion should be expected in the near future.

The announcement of the add-on happened quietly, but it didn’t happen out of the blue: at the last February 24 DICE Awards 2023, ELDEN Ring earned another Game of the Year award. Prior to this, the Hidetaka Miyazaki project, with the participation of the author of the A Song of Ice and Fire saga, George RR Martin, became the best game of 2022 according to The Game Awards 2022.

On February 22, From Software's game hit another significant milestone. In just under a year, over 20,000,000 copies of Miyazaki's original creation have been sold, according to a tweet from the creators of ELDEN Ring.

The original ELDEN RING was released on February 25, 2022. The game is available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and legacy consoles.
