Patch 7.33 for Dota 2 has increased the size of the map by 40%, revamped the user interface, improved the matchmaking system, and made many other changes

Today, on April 21, Valve released update 7.33 for the game Dota 2. The developers made numerous changes to the map, which has increased in size by 40%. Another Roshan's lair has been added to the map, along with new runes, creep camps, and a new hero type - universal.

The map now features many new resource gathering locations, and the main forests have been changed with various factors in mind. Roshan now appears on the Radiant side during the day and on the Dire side at night, and the monster itself has become even stronger.

Additionally, paired portals have been added, connecting different corners of the map. Two new objects were also introduced: Tormentors and Observers.

Tormentors are two powerful neutral creeps that appear near each base at the 20th minute of the game and hold Aghanim's Shards. They have a mega-shield that reflects most directed damage, and they become stronger every time they are killed. Destroying one of them may require the efforts of the entire team.

Observers are neutral objects that are initially inactive and neutral at the start of the game, but after activation, provide visibility around them for 7 minutes or until enemies perform sabotage to temporarily disable them. When the team kills Roshan, all observers switch to their side.
