ESL has updated the rules for CS 2 tournaments, introducing changes to the regulations that are now available on the official website.

One of the key changes involves coaches. Due to the absence of dedicated slots for coaches in CS 2, they are now prohibited from accessing the game server during online tournaments. However, one member of the team is allowed to conduct a "private stream" of the match using the screen sharing function.

Another significant update pertains to tactical timeouts. Players are now allowed to use all three timeouts consecutively. If a match goes into additional rounds, any unused timeouts will be reset, and each team will be provided with one timeout. When transitioning into second and subsequent overtimes, teams will once again receive one timeout each.
