A new map has been introduced in COD Warzone, titled "Urzikstan"
On the new "Urzikstan" map in the game Call of Duty Warzone, a completely innovative world has emerged, blending elements of Eastern Europe and the Middle East. This map has been designed with 11 key points of interest and numerous other areas, providing players with a diverse gaming experience.
Situated adjacent to the location of the "Al Mazrah" map in Warzone, "Urzikstan" offers gamers a unique opportunity to explore a new world and face new challenges.
Activision has also introduced significant changes to the movement and combat mechanics that will be implemented in the new version of Warzone. Players will now have the ability to cancel slides by performing a jump or crouch again. Operators will initiate slides more quickly, covering greater distances while sliding, and even have the ability to fire while in a tactical stance.
Jumping will become more dynamic and higher, and players will experience reduced deceleration upon landing from a jump, as well as a shorter delay in bringing weapons to bear after jumping.
Players can activate a tactical stance for a "hybrid of hip-firing and aiming down sights," providing faster lateral movement and increased traversal speed, though accuracy may be slightly affected.
Warzone will also see the implementation of other improvements, such as dedicated sidearms for swimming and climbing, easier-to-find contracts, and automatic donning of gas masks when they are part of the equipment loadout.
In the new version of Warzone, the following game modes and maps will be available at launch:
- Battle Royale (Urzikstan, Vondel)
- Resurgence (Vondel, Ashika Island)
- Plunder (Urzikstan)
The first of two multiplayer beta weekends for Modern Warfare 3 will commence on October 6, with the first being a PlayStation exclusive. The second weekend, open to all platforms, will take place on October 12. These new changes and updates aim to make the gaming experience in Warzone even more exciting and dynamic for all players.
