PUBG Mobile is preparing to celebrate its 8th Anniversary with the highly anticipated Version 4.3 update, bringing a major overhaul to the battle royale experience. With the arrival of the new “Evolving Universe” theme, players are eager to know when the update will go live and what new features it will introduce.

Here’s everything to know about the release schedule and the key additions in this milestone update.

PUBG Mobile 4.3 Official Release Date

The global release of the PUBG Mobile 4.3 update is officially scheduled for March 12, 2026.

As with previous updates, the rollout will happen gradually through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Availability may vary slightly depending on region and platform.

Regional versions will receive the update earlier:

• Vietnam (VN) and Korea (KR) versions: March 10, 2026

Key Features in Version 4.3

The “Evolving Universe” update introduces new gameplay systems and long-term tactical changes.

Passive Skill System

For the first time, players can select a specialized role before entering a match. Available roles include:

• Healing
• Detection
• Combat
• Perception
• Vehicle

Each role grants unique buffs, such as faster revives or the ability to mark enemies, adding strategic depth to every match.

M1 Garand Rifle

A new marksman rifle, the M1 Garand, joins the arsenal. Known for its iconic “ping” sound when the clip empties, this weapon offers powerful mid-to-long-range performance.

Temporal Vault Mode

The update introduces Temporal Vault, a high-risk, high-reward mode where players unlock vaults ranging from C-tier to S-tier. These vaults contain rare loot and permanent rewards.

Erangel Map Rework

Popular locations such as Mylta and Mansion have been redesigned to fit the anniversary theme. Changes include interactive mini-games and protective shield mechanics that refresh gameplay in these areas.

Technical Requirements

To prepare for the update, players should ensure at least 4GB of free storage space on their device.

While the update package itself is approximately 1.2GB, additional resource packs will need to be downloaded after launching the game.
