PUBG Mobile has once again sparked major excitement within the community by announcing an upcoming collaboration with the legendary fighting game series, THE KING OF FIGHTERS.

As part of the crossover, a new themed event will arrive in PUBG Mobile, featuring multiple outfits, weapon finishes, and in-game rewards inspired directly by the iconic franchise. The collaboration is scheduled to launch on January 30, 2026.

PUBG Mobile has consistently delivered a wide range of high-profile collaborations with each major update. Recent partnerships have included brands such as Porsche and franchises like Transformers. This time, the game is teaming up with one of the most influential fighting games of the 1990s.

THE KING OF FIGHTERS, developed by the Japanese studio SNK, is a long-running crossover series that brings together characters from multiple SNK franchises, alongside original fighters created exclusively for the series. The franchise has also expanded into the mobile market through Netmarble’s idle RPG adaptation.

The collaboration is expected to reintroduce the popular Prize Path event. This system typically allows players to unlock a progression track by spending UC, with the entry cost rumored to be around 600 UC.

Players can anticipate at least three Mythic-tier outfits, along with themed weapon finishes and a variety of cosmetic items. Similar Prize Path events have previously appeared during collaborations with Kaiju No. 8 and Attack on Titan.

How to Obtain Rewards in the PUBG Mobile x THE KING OF FIGHTERS Event

Access to event rewards will require unlocking the Prize Path. Since the collaboration has not yet gone live, the full reward lineup has not been officially confirmed.

Based on early information from multiple sources, the Prize Path is expected to include three Mythic character sets, a helmet skin, two voice packs, and an exclusive finish for the Falcon companion. Additional details are likely to be revealed closer to the event’s launch.
