In 2022, Electronic Arts announced an Iron Man video game, confirming that Motive Studio (Star Wars: Squadrons, Dead Space Remake) is leading development in collaboration with Marvel Games. Since then, there has been no news about the project, and there were even rumors that it had been canceled, but a new leak has confirmed that work on Marvel's Iron Man is actively continuing.

Out of the blue, an unofficial look at the trailer for Marvel's Iron Man came out, giving us an insight into what the game will be like. We see gameplay footage featuring flights over New York, as well as cutscenes showing Tony Stark both in and out of his suit. The trailer also confirmed the presence of villains such as Madame Masque, Iron Monger, Crimson Dynamo, Whiplash, Blizzard, and Justin Hammer in Marvel's Iron Man, some of whom have appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Well, that didn't go as planned. But now you know, and we've got a lot more to show you. See you when we’re ready.

The release date for Marvel's Iron Man remains unknown at this point. According to an early synopsis, the game will feature a new story about Tony Stark and his alter ego. The game’s director is Olivier Proulx, who previously served as one of the producers on Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy and Marvel’s Avengers. It will also use Unreal Engine 5 and is being developed for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.
