The project was showcased only once, during The Game Awards 2024, and has yet to receive a release date. However, a recent report suggests that we might find out this information soon.

As noted by Tech4Gamers, referencing recent job postings from Naughty Dog, the company is looking for language testing specialists (QA) specifically for Portuguese, French, German, Italian, and Korean. This indicates that the development of Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is already in its final stages, as language testing typically takes place during this phase.

It seems we can expect the release of Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet around mid-2027, which aligns with earlier rumors and insider's information. This timing also fits well with Naughty Dog's typical schedule, as games like Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and The Last of Us Part II were released in May 2016 and June 2020, respectively.
