Arthur Morgan-skuespiller deler tanker om Red Dead Redemption 3

Denne artikkelen er tilgjengelig på følgende språk

Roger Clark, the actor behind Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2, has once again addressed the growing discussions surrounding Red Dead Redemption 3 and whether he would return for a future installment in Rockstar Games’ legendary western franchise.

Even nearly eight years after the release of Red Dead Redemption 2, Clark remains closely connected to the community, with fans constantly asking him about the possibility of a sequel.

Roger Clark Jokes About Red Dead Redemption 3

During a recent interview with Fall Damage, Clark spoke about how often fans ask him for information regarding Red Dead Redemption 3.

At first, the actor jokingly claimed the game would release “tomorrow after lunchtime,” before clarifying that he genuinely has no idea when Rockstar plans to revisit the franchise.

According to Clark, the next game is probably still “a long time away,” especially with Rockstar currently focused on the upcoming launch of Grand Theft Auto 6.

Still, that uncertainty has not stopped his excitement about the possibility of another Red Dead title.

Clark Says Rockstar ‘Would Be Crazy’ Not to Make a Sequel

While discussing the future of the series, Clark admitted that it would be “crazy” if Rockstar Games never made another Red Dead Redemption game.

At the same time, he remained realistic about his own involvement, explaining that there is no way to know whether future entries would feature Arthur Morgan or any returning characters from previous games.

However, Clark made it clear that he would gladly return if Rockstar ever reached out.

According to the actor, he would “answer the phone” immediately if the studio contacted him about another Red Dead project.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Remains One of Gaming’s Biggest Success Stories

Despite releasing back in 2018, Red Dead Redemption 2 continues to stand as one of the most successful and influential games ever made.

To date, the game has reportedly sold more than:

  • 85 million copies worldwide

For comparison:

  • Baldur’s Gate 3 has sold around 20 million copies
  • Grand Theft Auto 5 has surpassed 225 million copies

Although Red Dead Redemption 2 achieved enormous commercial success, Rockstar’s main focus currently remains on the GTA franchise, especially considering the massive ongoing revenue generated by GTA Online.

Other Red Dead Actors Also Want to Return

Roger Clark is not the only major cast member interested in returning to the franchise.

Several other actors from Red Dead Redemption 2 have previously expressed interest in coming back, including:

  • Rob Wiethoff (John Marston)
  • Alex McKenna (Sadie Adler)

Wiethoff previously stated he would return “in a second” if given the opportunity, while McKenna has openly supported the idea of Sadie Adler becoming the lead protagonist of a future sequel.

The Future of Red Dead Still Remains Unclear

For now, Rockstar Games has not officially confirmed Red Dead Redemption 3, and there are currently no details regarding when — or if — the franchise will return.
