Builder’s Barracks Gets a Major Upgrade

Just days into Showdown Act 2, Team Foundation has already reached Milestone 2, triggering a significant transformation of Builder’s Barracks, located on the eastern coast of the map.

Originally a simple outpost, the area has now expanded to include:

• Two large structures at the entrance
• A newly added port with a ship
• Improved loot across the location

The entire POI is constructed using build-mode materials like wood, brick, and metal, reinforcing its connection to Fortnite’s core gameplay systems.

A Crossover Influence

The design of Builder’s Barracks is tied to the ongoing crossover between Battle Royale and Save the World. With the release of update v40.20, Save the World became free-to-play, and elements from that mode—including heroes and weapons—have started appearing in Battle Royale.

Builder’s Barracks is just the beginning. Further progression in Act 2 will unlock:
