Jesus Simulator lanseres på PC, PlayStation-versjon planlagt

VRCFORGE Studios has officially released its narrative-driven adventure Jesus Simulator, which is now available on PC as of March 23. The studio has also confirmed that a PlayStation version is currently in development and will be released at a later date.

Story and Concept

The game explores the life and death of Jesus of Nazareth, drawing inspiration from the New Testament. According to the developers, the narrative is based on biblical accounts as well as historically grounded sources. Players will experience major events from the Gospels, including Christ’s early life, his teachings, miracles, and interactions with his disciples.

At its core, the project aims to communicate key elements of Christian philosophy through interactive storytelling. Themes such as love, compassion, forgiveness, faith, and sacrifice play a central role throughout the experience.

Gameplay Features

Jesus Simulator is designed as a third-person adventure with a strong focus on atmosphere and narrative. The story is supported by a range of interactive mini-games that enhance key moments.

A standout feature is the dynamic perspective system. Rather than following a single point of view, players can experience the story through multiple characters, including Mary, Joseph, Jesus, and his followers. This approach is intended to provide a more nuanced and layered understanding of the events.

The developers have also paid close attention to environmental design, recreating historical locations with respect to the cultural and historical context of the time. While the game remains faithful to its source material, it is also designed to be approachable for players who may not be deeply familiar with Christian traditions.
