Borderlands 4 – 30. oktober-oppdateringen bringer med seg rettelser og justeringer av gjenstander

Gearbox Software has rolled out a new update for Borderlands 4, addressing several lingering issues and making small but meaningful balance changes. Following the previous round of major adjustments, this patch fine-tunes gameplay, refines loot drops, and introduces a few quality-of-life improvements as players continue optimizing their Vault Hunter builds.

After the major balance patch that included the controversial Crit Knife nerf, Gearbox is back with a smaller update focused on fixes rather than overhauls. While the Crit Knife remains less explosive than before, it’s still considered a viable endgame option, and this patch doesn’t dramatically shake up the current meta.

Instead, Gearbox concentrated on polishing gameplay, fixing item behavior, and adding convenience features for players experimenting with builds.

💥 Key Changes and Fixes

• The Gravitar Class Mod “Reactor” now properly drops from Inceptus, restoring intended loot pool behavior.
• The Order Legendary Grenade “Skully” received a significant damage adjustment, boosting the projectile damage output before impact — addressing community feedback that it felt too weak during the Horrors of Kairos Halloween event. An audio bug with its fire effects was also fixed, ensuring proper volume reduction with distance.
• Knife Penetrator Augment has been corrected — it will no longer incorrectly apply a flat 30% critical chance to all attacks.
• Players can now reset their Repkit, Ordnance, or Action Skills on cooldown simply by interacting with Dr. Zed’s Meds, Guns vending machines, or Lost Loot machines, improving flexibility during gear adjustments.
• Audio volume for the world boss Spidananggal’s wings has been reduced, addressing one of the more persistent immersion-breaking sound issues.

🎁 Bonus: SHiFT Codes and Golden Keys

Alongside this update, players can also redeem three new SHiFT Codes for Golden Keys, shared by Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford. As usual, these codes are time-limited — valid for 48 hours after being posted — and will expire on October 31, 2025. Players are encouraged to claim them quickly to grab valuable loot.

Though modest in scale, the October 30 update reinforces Gearbox’s ongoing commitment to refining Borderlands 4’s systems and maintaining a balanced, enjoyable experience for its dedicated community.
