Ghost of Yotei-animatoren avduker Dinoblade – et vilt indiespill der dinosaurer duellerer med gigantiske sverd

Jean Nguyen, senior animator on Ghost of Yotei, has taken his creativity in an unexpected direction with a personal side project — a chaotic and charming indie title called Dinoblade. What started as a lighthearted experiment has evolved into a full-fledged game that’s already turning heads. A playable demo is now available on Steam, with the full release planned for 2026.

In Dinoblade, players take control of dinosaurs armed with massive blades, clashing in intense melee combat. It’s as bizarre as it is brilliant — the prehistoric warriors can’t grip their weapons, so they swing them using their jaws. Despite its humorous premise, the game promises a solid character progression system and a variety of challenging enemies ready to put players’ skills to the test.

While Nguyen initially saw the project as a fun diversion, Dinoblade is quickly shaping up to be one of the most delightfully unique indie releases on the horizon — a mix of absurdity, action, and prehistoric flair.
