Ongoing Bug Fixes Following Season 24 Launch

Like all live-service games, Apex Legends constantly introduces new content, but with that comes a wave of technical issues. The launch of Season 24 brought several gameplay bugs and matchmaking problems, prompting Respawn to release multiple patches over the past few weeks.

On February 25, Respawn announced that a new update had been deployed to resolve various matchmaking issues. The patch specifically addresses:

A bug preventing players from joining or leaving matches

The "Unable to find party server" error

A Ranked Points (RP) accumulation issue that stopped players from earning RP in ranked matches

These fixes aim to improve the overall online experience, ensuring players can connect to fair and functional lobbies.

Another Update in a String of February Fixes

This update marks the second consecutive patch in two days from Respawn. While the previous patch focused on gameplay stability, fixing crashes on Xbox and Switch, this one is solely dedicated to matchmaking improvements.

Earlier this month, the Apex Legends team highlighted Season 24’s matchmaking enhancements, including anti-cheat measures and changes aimed at making matchmaking fairer and more balanced.

EA Hints at the Future of Apex Legends

Meanwhile, Electronic Arts (EA) is actively exploring the next evolution of Apex Legends. CEO Andrew Wilson recently mentioned the possibility of a major refresh, referring to it as "Apex Legends 2.0." While details remain scarce, Respawn is reportedly in the early stages of figuring out the future of the franchise.
