Ubisoft has officially confirmed the next part of Assassin's Creed called Mirage. On Twitter, the developers presented the nearest announcement of the game, which will take place on September 10th as part of Ubisoft Forward September 2022.

Assassin's Creed Mirage is the next game in the Assassin's Creed series. We can't wait to tell you more on September 10 at Ubisoft Forward.

According to early insider rumors, Assassin's Creed Mirage will return to the roots of the Assassin's Creed series as the developers plan to ditch the role-playing elements in favor of stealth.

Assassin's Creed Mirage is expected to take place in ancient Baghdad, and the game will tell about the assassin Basim ibn Ishaq, who was one of the heroes in the previous part of the series - Assassin's Creed Valhalla. As part of the new game, the developers should talk about the adventures of Basim in his youth and how he was engaged in theft before joining the guild.
