FIFA åpner registreringen for FIFA Club World Cup 26
FIFAe, FIFA’s official football esports division, has opened registrations for the FIFAe Club World Cup 26. The initial registration phase is currently available for Football Manager, giving clubs the opportunity to compete on the global stage.
Clubs Can Qualify for the FIFAe Club World Cup 26
According to FIFAe, clubs from all regions are eligible to apply, including professional, semi-professional, and amateur organizations. Previous esports experience is not required, making this an excellent opportunity for clubs looking to enter the esports scene for the first time.
The registration process is straightforward. Clubs must submit an application via email from their official organization email address to [email protected] providing basic club information along with a designated esports contact.
After the registration period ends, FIFAe will review and verify all applications before confirming the list of accepted participants. Qualification will take place through structured online match weeks, with each club represented by its chosen athletes.
Results across these match weeks will determine which teams secure a spot at the FIFAe Club World Cup 26. Additional details regarding match schedules, tournament format, and roster rules are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
This initiative aligns with FIFAe’s broader strategy to expand beyond traditional console-based football esports. In 2024, FIFAe launched its Next Gen event, featuring both Football Manager and KONAMI’s eFootball. Following eFootball’s recent dedicated event and in-game campaign, a FIFAe Club World Cup 26 featuring eFootball is now widely expected to be announced.
