So far, neither Valve nor Malr1ne has provided any public comment or explanation regarding the sudden reversal. The official reason behind the unban remains undisclosed, leaving the Dota 2 community speculating about what caused and resolved the issue so quickly.

📰 Original Report

Earlier that day, news broke that Malr1ne had been banned from Dota 2, with the restriction visible directly on his Steam profile.

According to the Steam enforcement notice, the action was taken due to “using third-party programs, violating Steam’s terms of service, smurfing, matchmaking abuse, or other severe violations.” As a result, the player was temporarily unable to access matchmaking.

Malr1ne responded to the situation in a lighthearted manner, sharing a short message that quickly circulated among fans and teammates:

“Guys, it’s GG. I don’t know what we’re going to do about this (laughs).”Malr1ne

Despite the unexpected ban, Malr1ne continued participating in the FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2 tournament, representing Team Falcons, who remain one of the top contenders at the event.

At the time of the incident, the Falcons were undefeated with a 3:0 record, having already advanced to the playoffs. Their next scheduled match is set for October 28, with fans eager to see whether the situation will impact their momentum.
