Team EnVyUs lost an invite to PGL Major Krakow closed qualifications

The organizers of PGL Major Krakow decided to take away the direct invite to LAN-qualifiers from Team EnVyUs. This happened because Team EnVyUs replaced 3 players after The ELEAGUE Major 2017. Team EnVyUs slot will become a part of the reward of the Minor championship in Europe. PGL did not tell whether Team EnVyUs will get an invite to this championship. The Minor tournament will take place on June 15 – 18. 8 best teams of the Major-tournament gain the Legend status and get the possibility to participate in the next Major tournament. Other teams get a chance to participate in LAN-qualifiers. A week ago, Team EnVyUs have been members of last stage but the organizers decided to fix that. After The ELEAGUE Major 2017, Kenny «kennyS» Schrub, Dan «apEX» Madesclaire and Nathan «NBK» Schmitt left Team EnVyUs and joined G2 Esports. At the same time, Adil «ScreaM» Benrlitom and Cedrik «RpK» Guipouy moved to the team from G2 Esports. Alexandre «xms» Forte became the fifth player of the team. PGL Major Krakow LAN-final will take place on July 16 – 23. The tournament will be hosted by TAURON Arena Krakow with ~15,000 places. 16 participants will share the prize pool of $1,000,000.
