IEM Katowice Major 2019: all participants of The New Champions Stage were determined

Such teams as ENCE eSports, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and FaZe Clan achieved victory in the last matches. AVANGAR, Vitality, and Cloud9, which were playing against them, lost. Now, the list of participants of The New Champions Stage looks in the following way:

• Team Liquid
• Natus Vincere
• MIBR
• Renegades
• FaZe Clan
• ENCE eSports
• Ninjas in Pyjamas

Team Vitality, Cloud9, AVANGAR, HellRaisers, G2 Esports, compLexity Gaming, BIG, and NRG Esports have finished their participation in The New Legends Stage and earned consolation prizes in the sum of $8,750. All above-mentioned teams, except BIG and NRG Esports, have received invites to The New Challengers Stage of the next Major tournament.

The final stage of the Major championship starts on February 28, in which quarterfinalists will face in the first matches to make it to the semi-final. Losing teams will earn $35,000 and winners will advance to the semi-final and guarantee themselves a prize in the sum of $70,000. All teams, which had made it to The New Champions Stage, have guaranteed themselves invites to The New Legends Stage of StarLadder Major Berlin 2019.
