Fnatic and Team Liquid were invited to DreamHack Winter 2017

Organizers announced the first two participants that had received invitations to the event.

The Swedish and North American rosters will take part in the tournament that will be run in Jonkoping, Sweden on December 1-3. Elmia Convention Center is a venue. A prize pool, as it is in other season DreamHack tournaments, amounts $100,000 and the main money prize is in the sum of $50,000.

Eight teams will compete in the tournament, six of which will receive direct invitations. The rest two participants will qualify in Europe and North America on November 11-12.

Gambit eSports became the winner of the last year DreamHack Winter, it won Renegades in the final.
