Details of the CIS qualifiers to SL i-League Invitational S2 were announced

Organizers of SL i-League Invitational 2017 have published details of the CIS qualification. The qualifiers will be hosted in two stages - 16 teams will be in the first one, they will be divided into two Single-Elimination playoff brackets where they will have to play matches in a bo3 format. The finalists from each bracket will move to the next stage.

In the second stage, the four teams from the first stage will be joined by the four invited teams. All participants will be seeded in a Single-Elimination playoff to make the winner of the first stage face the invited team. Matches of this stage will be carried out till two victories (Bo3) too and the winner will receive an invitation to the LAN final of SL i-League Invitational Shanghai.

The tournament will be hosted in China on November 2-5 this year. Eight teams from various parts of the world will fight for a title of the second season’s champion and a prize pool in the sum of $150,000.
