FaZe Bench er brutt etter nesten 7 år med laget

FaZe Clan have announced that they are benching their AWPer Helvijs "broky" Saukants from the starting roster. The team made the announcement on their page on X.

broky joined FaZe back in 2019. Over almost 7 years with the organization, the Latvian sniper competed at numerous tier-1 tournaments and built one of the most decorated trophy cabinets of his generation. His run of S-Tier titles began at IEM Extreme Masters XVI - Katowice in February 2022, followed shortly after by an ESL Pro League Season 15 title in April. His most prestigious achievement with FaZe came in May 2022, when the team won PGL Major Antwerp, broky's first and only Major title to date. FaZe doubled down on that success by securing the Intel Grand Slam Season 4 and IEM Extreme Masters XVII - Cologne, both in 2022, before adding the CS Asia Championships 2023 and ESL Pro League Season 17 to the list in 2023.

From late 2024 onward, broky and FaZe found themselves consistently reaching the biggest stages but falling just short of the trophy. The team finished runners-up at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024, and StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 — three Major finals in a row without a win, a stretch that came to define the closing chapter of broky's time with the organization.

At IEM Cologne Major 2026, the team failed to qualify directly due to a low VRS rating at the time invites were sent out, marking yet another setback for FaZe in recent times.

Over his time with FaZe, broky played 1182 maps, posting the following stats:

• KAST — 73.5%
• Rating — 1.11

His stint with FaZe was the most successful of his career, during which he earned over $1.2 million in prize money.

According to insider KRL, FaZe are set to sign two players as replacements — Neityu and JBOEN. Neityu will arrive after being bought out from ENCE, while JBOEN will take over the AWPer role.

Following these changes, FaZe's roster is expected to consist of frozen, jcobbb, and Twistzz (IGL) as the existing core, joined by new additions Neityu and JBOEN, with enkay J continuing as head coach.
