ValveValve has released a new patch for CS2 that addresses several bugs and improves the voice chat activation algorithm, effectively eliminating lag issues for users.
Patch Notes:
- Weapon Animation Fix: Corrected an issue where weapon animations played incorrectly when inspecting during reloading.
- Voice Chat Lag Reduction: Fixed most lag problems caused by in-game voice chat.
- Enhanced Voice Chat Activation: Improved the key activation for voice chat, eliminating lag during its first use.
- Connection Quality Improvement: Enhanced connection quality by automatically adjusting the user's command send rate to address packet loss and other issues, ensuring commands reach the server more quickly.
- Teammate Health Indicator: Improved the readability of teammates' health indicators at low resolutions.
