FANTASY, Eternal Fire, Sangal Esports og B8 Esports kvalifiserte seg for IEM Road to Rio 2022 for Europa

The second game day of the third open qualifier for IEM Road to Rio 2022 for Europe has ended, according to the results of which the teams FANTASY, Eternal Fire, Sangal Esports and B8 Esports qualified for the RMR tournament. The participants will now play for the best seed, while four other teams will play in the bracket for the fifth spot at IEM Road to Rio 2022.

The day before, tournament operator ESL announced the venues and details of IEM Road to Rio 2022 for Europe, America and Asia. More than 50 teams will compete in three different locations for the right to play the first-ever Major on Brazilian soil.

This qualification was not without sensations, as the Danish team Astralis was again out of work, this time losing to los kogutos (8:16). In turn, the FANTASY mix deserves clear praise, which managed to beat PACT (16:11), LF0 (16:14), 1PIN (19:17) and los kogutos (2:1).

The Eternal Fire team deserved its slot at IEM Road to Rio 2022 for Europe, which turned out to be stronger than EYEBALLERS (16:8), GamerLegion (16:13) and ECSTATIC (2:1) during the qualifiers. The Turkish team at the RMR tournament will be Sangal Esports, as the team went over the heads of Iron Branch (22:19), Sashi Esport (16:7), Budapest Five (16:9) and Entropiq (2:0).

Well, another "lucky" team was B8 Esports, which managed to beat SC e-Sports (16:14), Movistar Riders (16:9), AVANGAR (16:9) and HEET (2:0) in this qualification.

In turn, four teams will compete for the fifth ticket to IEM Road to Rio 2022 for Europe - HEET, los kogutos, Entropiq and ECSTATIC.
