Debuttraileren til Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 kan bli avslørt neste uke

The next Call of Duty title is reportedly under development at Infinity Ward; it will be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 and released this October. While Activision hasn’t announced the game yet, the first teaser is rumored to be revealed next week.

As revealed by Call of Duty insider ShadowMakarov, Activision is planning to reveal the first trailer of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 next week—on April 28, 18:00 CEST (10:00 AM PT). Moreover, he reveals that the game will have a serious tone, even more disturbing than we saw in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019), as you can check out below:

“Big one just landed: Activision has locked in the Modern Warfare 4 Reveal Trailer for April 28, 2026 — 18:00 CEST (10:00 AM PT). They’re going all out on this one. Expect a tone that’s way more serious, grounded and uncomfortable than MW 2019.”

There are also some interesting insights about the game, but not what the fans would like to hear. Specifically, according to one of the game's testers, the game's movement system feels very clunky—even worse than in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. This idea was also noted by one of the franchise’s well-known insiders, TheGhostOfHope, who stated that despite all of Modern Warfare III’s shortcomings, many elements will carry over into the new, fourth installment.

The details of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 are mostly unknown. We heard reports that the game’s campaign mode will be launched in early access, similar to Modern Warfare 3 (that only confirms the words of TheGhostOfHope), and it will also receive various content for DMZ mode. Besides Modern Warfare 4, there is also a Call of Duty movie adaptation in development, directed by Peter Berg and set to release on June 30, 2028.
