On the night of July 6, a 30-minute video appeared on the network demonstrating the gameplay of the future flagship Ubisoft. From it you can learn a lot of interesting things.

  1. The game needs to be finalized.

So far, the game does not look like a completed project. The frame rate sags from time to time, the artificial intelligence of opponents fails, and some animations are displayed crookedly.

  1. "Cinematic mode"

Ubisoft caught the trends and added cinematic mode to AC: Valhalla. It's about the camera, while riding a horse between the points of rapid transition. We saw this technique in other projects, for example, in Red Dead Redemption 2.

  1. RPG component of the game

In Assassin's Creed: Valhalla RPG component plays an important role. We can say that it is directly transferred from the previous parts with minor modifications.

  1. Large-scale battles

An interesting part of the gameplay is the siege of castles. Shown in the trailer looks quite epic, in the best traditions of Viking legends. The main thing is that this mechanic does not slip into a routine, as it was with the capture of forts in Assassin`s Creed 3.

The video has already been removed, so you need to wait for the presentation of Ubisoft Forward, which will be held on July 12. On it we will again be able to watch the gameplay of the upcoming project.
